And as he stood over the ball, fans inside the Parc des Princes tried to unsettle the Paris Saint-Germain superstar forward by pointing a laser in his face.
That, however, was the look you had if you either added the match or watched it on TV.
A different view from a skilled cameraman who was on duty during the match has gone viral, giving fans a glimpse of what cameramen get to enjoy whenever they are recording the game.
The view has the cameraman zooming on Neymar who is getting ready to take the shot before zooming out just seconds before he shoots and easily fools the goalkeeper to dive on the wrong side.
The short clip has impressed many fans only since it shows how skillful you need to be to become a cameraman in sports.
